NatWest and RBS fixed-rate bonds 'among the most competitive'

A new selection of NatWest and RBS fixed-rate bonds offer interest rates of up to six per cent and are some of the most competitive on the high street, according to the financial institutions.

The top rate is for the three-year stepped rate bond, which starts two per cent in the first 12 months, before increasing to four per cent and six per cent in the second and third years respectively.

Consumers must invest at least £5,000 to qualify for this rate.

The same amount rewards customers with 1.75 per cent and 3.5 per cent if they put their money into NatWest or RBS one and two-year fixed-rate bonds.

Investors wishing to take advantage of these interest rates must transfer the money by July 2nd, with the bond term beginning on July 26th.

Last month, Dragons' Den star Deborah Meaden revealed that she would be taking part in a business webinar, which took place on May 19th.
