The company noted that the UK is coming out of an "interesting" economic period and many businesses are being able to cut costs, which is helping to improve cash flow situations.
"We have gone from boom to recession and then recovery (of sorts) and now fears of a double dip have not gone away completely as the government tightens its belt," it noted.
But Legal & General pointed out that the market is currently very volatile and seems to react badly to any negative news.
The firm suggested that this means there are several risks "hanging over the market", but also that some equities could be good value currently.
Last month, Legal & General Investment Management noted the weakness of sterling could help the UK could help the country economically by allowing it to increase exports.
