Aviva makes policy documents 'more customer-friendly'

Insurance provider Aviva has given its policy documents a revamp, making them more reader-friendly.

It is the first time a wording review has been carried out since 2004, the company revealed.

In addition, policy folders have been redesigned to give them a more modern look.

Mervyn Harris, product manager at Aviva, said the newly improved documents will hopefully make them easier for brokers and customers to understand.

"These changes are part of a wider review of Aviva's commercial product range. There will be a number of improvements to sector-specific cover announced over the coming months," he added.

Meanwhile, a study carried out by Aviva earlier this week revealed that there is a link between happiness and financial control.

The company's Feel-Good Insight Study found that those with sensible financial plans in place tend to have a greater overall sense of wellbeing.

Furthermore, the report revealed that most people think it is more important to have good health than lots of money.
