Aviva banking explains capital generation methods

A presentation was carried out by Aviva banking on Friday (July 2nd) to explain to shareholders and analysts how capital is being generated at the firm.

It was led by group chief executive Andrew Moss, with the help of chief financial officer Pat Regan.

Mr Moss noted that the presentation highlights the "predictability" of Aviva banking's capital generation, as well as demonstrating its scale.

"This gives our results real resilience and provides a powerful base from which we pay dividends and invest in the profitable growth of the business," he added.

For interested parties who wish to view the presentation, the file has been uploaded to Aviva's website along with video interviews with Mr Moss and Mr Regan.

Last month, the company noted that despite a change in government and a fluctuating economic climate over the past decade, many things have stayed the same, such as the most common homeowner's name being the Smiths.
