Lloyds TSB coin-striking sessions begin

The workshops started on Tuesday (July 13th) and allow visitors to 'strike' a Scottish penny from the 13th century, much in the same way that people would have done in Medieval times.
But it is not just Lloyds TSB coin-striking sessions that are available to take part in at the venue - the Museum on the Mound in Edinburgh - since children can also try The Money Trail, an interactive tour of the exhibits on show.
The firm is also hoping to produce a set of classroom resources that can be sent out to schools across the country.
Meanwhile, Lloyds TSB's managing director of savings investment and protection Russell Galley recently welcomed new cash Isa recommendations published by the Office of Fair Trading, which he said will benefit customers.
