NatWest and RBS Platinum credit card 'even more competitive'

The NatWest and RBS Platinum credit card has been altered by the financial services institutions in an effort to offer greater value to the customer, according to one company source.

Director of everyday banking at the firms Hugh Chater explained that the team is committed to providing flexible, helpful and convenient products to consumers.

In his view, the changes that have been made to the NatWest and RBS Platinum credit card are positive for customers.

The account is currently available with an increased balance transfer offer of 16 months interest free and zero per cent interest on purchases for the first three months.

"Our Platinum card is by far the most popular credit card we provide and we wanted to make it even more competitive by extending the balance transfer window," added Mr Chater.

The companies recently announced the launch of a customer charter, which was put together by listening to customer feedback about the service the firms were delivering.
