Swiftcover.com insurance for young drivers 'has saved consumers'

Consumers who have chosen to take out swiftcover.com insurance have saved a great deal of money over the past five years, it has been claimed.

Marketing director at the company Tina Shortle made her comments after the organisation announced that it has insured enough vehicles during the five years it has been in existence to form a line around the M25 42 times.

She claimed that this success is down to the firm's focus on saving its customers time and money when they are looking for cover.

Ms Shortle suggested that the number of people that have signed up for swiftcover.com insurance means that the company may have saved consumers a significant amount of cash over the years.

"To have insured that many drivers and that many vehicles is quite a feat for an insurance company that was only created five years ago," she added.

Last month, swiftcover.com announced that it would begin offering home insurance, as well as its conventional car insurance policies.
