Cash Isa provider Leeds Building Society 'delighted with award'

The cash Isa provider was given the honour of best regional branch network to acknowledge the excellent standard of customer service that offered by staff with the building society.

"To come out on top in this award is a testament to the quality of service our staff provide, throughout our 65-strong national branch network and the competitive products that we have brought to the market," said general manager of sales Paul Kaye.

Winners of the awards are found through the experiences reported by 180 secret shoppers who use criteria including time taken to speak to a member of staff and product knowledge.

The institution has also received awards this year from Moneyfacts for best notice account provider and best no notice account provider.

Perhaps as a result of these awards, Leeds Building Society has seen its profits increase in the first half of this year, recording a ten per cent increase in pre-tax profit.
