Norwich & Peterborough Building Society fixed rate mortgage 'lowest interest in the category'

A new fixed rate mortgage from Norwich & Peterborough Building Society features the lowest interest rate on the market for this type of deal, according to a representative from the organisation.

Product manager at the firm Richard Barker explained that the 85 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) three-year fixed rate mortgage is available at 3.94 per cent interest.

He described how this makes it the lowest interest rate on the market for this specific arrangement at the time of going to press, making it a "competitive deal".

"We improved our mortgage range at the beginning of August and are happy to be doing so again now," he remarked.

Customers who are able to afford a 75 per cent LTV arrangement can reduce the interest further on this three-year fixed rate mortgage to 3.64 per cent.

This month, Norwich & Peterborough Building Society revealed that it had introduced an 85 per cent LTV two-year fixed rate deal at 3.64 per cent interest for existing customers only.
