New Cater Allen Private Bank product offers tiered current account interest rates

Customers can expect to enjoy tiered interest rates if they sign up for the new Cater Allen Prestige Bank Account.

There are a variety of benefits for individuals who sign up for this arrangement, such as an American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card, a UK-based client team and online facilities.

Head of banking and savings products at the firm Sally Ann Watts predicted that the new account, which requires people to deposit £25,000 or more, will be very popular with clients.

"Private banking clients want more than just a bank account, they want a membership offering service enhancements and benefits they would not always receive through a typical high street bank," she added.

American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card membership will continue to be fee-free for customers as long as they maintain a balance of £25,000 with the firm and spend at least £6,000 each year.

Recently, Cater Allen Private Bank launched a 200 per cent structured product, which guarantees the return of the initial investment at maturity.
