Leeds Building Society fixed rate bonds 'deliver certainty and choice'

Consumers can benefit from flexibility and a competitive return from their funds with the aid of two savings products from Leeds Building Society, it has been claimed.

Kim Rebecchi, sales and marketing director at the company, made her comments about the organisation's three and five-year fixed rate bonds, which offer interest rates of four per cent and 4.5 per cent respectively.

She highlighted how favourably this return compares with the base rate, which currently stands at 0.5 per cent.

Ms Rebecchi suggested the products allow customers to keep their options open to some degree, while not sacrificing value for money.

"Savers can benefit from a competitive guaranteed rate of return with the peace of mind associated with access to 25 per cent of the funds in case of emergency," she added.

Ms Rebecchi also recently lauded the Leeds Building Society easy access online account, which allows people to get their hands on all of their cash whenever they need it.
