New Clydesdale Bank fixed rate mortgages open to new and existing customers

The Clydesdale Bank has announced a number of new fixed rate mortgages, which are available to both new and existing customers.

In order to qualify for the new deals, customers will need to open a Signature account. Among the new offers is a two-year residential fixed mortgage with a rate of 2.99 per cent. This mortgage has a fee of £499.

Other offers include a two-year offset discounted SVR with a rate of 2.59 per cent and a fee of £499.

Commenting on the new mortgage deals, retail director at Clydesdale Bank Steve Reid said: "Clydesdale Bank remains focused on supporting both new and existing customers. This exclusive offer for our Signature Account holders is another example of our commitment to continue to provide competitive mortgages."

Recent research published by Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank showed that despite money worries, more than 85 per cent of people went into the festive season determined to spend just as much as in previous years.
