Barclays reduces rates on Bovis Homes mortgage package

Through its lending division Woolwich, the company has cut the rate on its Perfect 10 package to 3.79 per cent.
Available on any new Bovis Home, the two-year fixed-rate deal offers 90 per cent loan to value to customers.
People who select the product will also receive free unemployment protection insurance for three years, as well as £500 for legal fees.
Chief executive of Bovis Homes David Richie claimed the product aims to put an end to the "lending trend that has left many people frozen in or out of the market - and hopefully this rate cut will bring the bit of sunshine people need to get them moving".
Bovis Homes encourages prospective homeowners to purchase new-build houses, which could save them money on energy bills through increased energy efficiency.
