Bradford & Bingley fee-free mortgage released

A new mortgage deal from Bradford & Bingley offers borrowers an exclusive 'fees-free' three-year fixed rate mortgage, funded by Mortgage Express.

The product has a competitive initial fixed rate of 4.99 per cent fixed until September 30th 2008, when it reverts to the lender's standard variable rate of 6.2 per cent APR for the remaining term of the loan.

There is no higher lending charge payable on the mortgage, which comes with free valuation and free legals, no arrangement fee, no booking fee, £199 broker fee and early repayment charges until September 2008.

Bradford & Bingley is aiming the new product at those who want to remortgage their house in a hassle-free way.

David Bitner, head of mortgages for Bradford & Bingley, said: "This new market-leading product has been designed to attract remortgagers with equity, who want a fees free, no hassle deal with a great fixed rate."
