Post Office gift voucher service launched

The Post Office has launched a range of gift vouchers for high street retailers, available to all customers.

The voucher service offers those looking for a gift a simple, yet thoughtful, alternative to purchasing a box of chocolates.

Customers can choose vouchers for a number of high street brands including Debenhams, Topshop, Habitat, Miss Selfridge, Mothercare and River Island.

Derek Rocholl, head of payment services at Post Office Ltd, said: "We believe the new service will be very popular with our customers and stimulate an increase in the total size of the current UK gifting market."

Also available are 'experiences' such as Ferrari driving and wine tasting, which may be more suitable for those looking for something a bit more personal.

The vouchers are available in all Post Office branches across the UK, and come in an attractive gift wallet.
