Saga Health Insurance expands cover

Saga Health Insurance has announced that it has added new levels of cover to its health cash plans.

This will bring dental treatment cover up to £190 a year, and up to £400 annually will be available for physiotherapy and osteopathy, for cash plan level three customers.

However, different health cash plans from Saga Health Insurance are available to suit the budgets and requirements of a whole range of people

Andrew Goodsell, chief executive, Saga, said: "The lack of NHS provision for dentistry, chiropody and chiropractic treatment has driven many people to go private.

"People are increasingly looking for ways to offset the cost of these treatments, which is when health cash plans become particularly useful."

The dental treatment option is expected to be particularly popular with customers, as dental treatment makes up one third of total claims made.
