AWD Chase de Vere fixed rate bonds launched

Earlier this week, Mervyn King, governor of the Bank of England (BoE), said that further base rate cuts could happen in the near future.

With this in mind, AWC Chase de Vere has teamed up with Newcastle Building Society to offer customers a series of fixed rate bonds.

The AWC Chase de Vere fixed rate bonds come with an option of a length of 18 months, two years or three years and have a "market leading rate" of 5.05 per cent.

Susan Hannums of AWC Chase de Vere, said: "If you just want the peace of mind, knowing exactly what income you’ll receive then this offer could be just the ticket."

She concluded by saying that those looking for security should consider the AWC Chase de Vere fixed rate bonds, as many banks have been "sneaky" and cut savings rates by half a per cent, double that of the BoE cut.

"Another rate cut could see them at it again," she finished.
