Nationwide fixed rate mortgages launched

Nationwide has announced details of its new fixed rate mortgages which are available from November 2nd to all customers.

The rate for the two-year deal stands at 4.59 per cent, rising to 4.79 per cent for the three and five-year mortgages.

Meanwhile, the ten-year fixed rate mortgage is available with a rate of 4.99 per cent.

Customers must pay a reservation fee to secure the Nationwide fixed rate mortgage, which can either be paid upfront or be added to the loan.

The reservation fee stands at £199 for the five and ten-year product, while it rises to £399 for the two and three-year mortgages.
