Churchill Travel Insurance urges Brits to holiday

Nearly 60 per cent of Britons reach the end of their working year without having used up their annual leave, according to a new report from Churchill Travel Insurance.

Some of these booked some time off at the last minute and others that could roll their leave over to the next year also did so. However, many people lose out on those days every year.

Christine Webber, a psychotherapist, commented: "Time off work is very important. We need to stop believing that we're so indispensable at work and try to look after our minds and bodies much more."

She went on to say that employees who do not take adequate holiday time tend to be more stressed and susceptible to illness than those who do.

With this in mind, Churchill Travel Insurance recommends that people take out annual travel policies to ensure they are adequately covered should they choose to go away at any time.
