Northern Rock two-year flexible fixed mortgage launched

The new Northern Rock two-year flexible fixed mortgage has been launched and it comes with a rate of 3.99 per cent.

Customers can borrow up to 85 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) on this rate, reports Mortgage Introducer.

However, those wishing to borrow up to 90 per cent LTV can do so, but the rate then rises to 4.19 per cent.

An arrangement fee of 1.5 per cent is payable and this can be added to the amount borrowed.

There is no extended early repayment charge but there is a three per cent fee that must be paid if a full redemption is made during the fixed rate period.

The Northern Rock two-year flexible fixed mortgage also allows overpayments, borrow-back, underpayments and payment holidays.
