New Star Alpha Fund celebrates

The New Star Alpha Fund is celebrating its four-year anniversary with a track record of 'top decile' performance since its launch on November 12th 2001.

Managed by Tim Steer, the New Star Alpha Fund has delivered 50.2 per cent since its launch and thus has outperformed the IMA UK All Companies Sector, which has risen by 24.3 per cent.

Furthermore, the fund has been ranked 25th out of 251 and is also AA rated by Forsyth-OBSR.

Ben Robinson, public relations manager of New Star Investment Funds, said: "The outstanding four-year performance record of the New Star UK Alpha Fund is a truly remarkable achievement."

Mr Robinson went on to praise Mr Steer for his performance saying it was a "credit to his versatility".

New Star Investment Funds was founded in June 2000 by John Duffield and is one of the UK's fastest growing fund management companies.
