Leeds fee-free ten-year fixed rate mortgage launched

Leeds Building Society has launched a fee-free version of its best buy ten-year fixed rate mortgage that comes with a rate of 4.99 per cent.

A free valuation is also offered and customers can make ten per cent capital repayments each year.

Furthermore, for those looking to remortgage, free legal services are also available.

The announcement of the fee-free mortgage comes shortly after the building society launched the same mortgage with a fee and rate of 4.89 per cent.

Karen Wint, head of marketing and PR at Leeds, said: "Both of these ten-year mortgages represent great value and certainty of payment.

"I am delighted that we have been able to launch with no fees under the five per cent barrier."

For those interested in the Leeds fee-free ten-year fixed rate mortgage, advice is available from all branches of the building society, as well as online and via the telephone.
