More Th>n pre-Civil Partnership agreement launched

More Th>n has launched a number of pre-nuptial contracts, which gay partners can use when same-sex marriages come into effect on December 5th.

After this date, gay couples will be able to enter into a Civil Partnership, giving them the same rights as married couples.

David Pitt, of More Th>n, said: "This allows couples to have peace of mind and gives them an opportunity to focus on some hard details so they enter into the relationship fully aware of the extent of their financial, as well as emotional, commitment to each other."

The More Th>n pre-Civil Partnership agreement can be used by gay couples in much the same way as straight couples use pre-nuptial agreements.

Elton John and David Furnish have already said that they will be taking advantage of the new laws and plan on making their union official as soon as possible.
