The offer, also valid for the Premier current account, has been extended until the end of January.
Premier Regular Saver provides an "unrivalled interest rate" on a regular savings account linked to Premier or Premier Direct, the bank said.
Simon Ripton, current accounts manager, said: "The launch of Premier Regular Saver has proved enormously popular – so we have decided to extend the offer for a further month."
He added that the Alliance & Leicester Premier Direct account is recognised as being among the best on the market.
A "further new year bonus" of an extended five per cent credit interest rate on the Premier Direct account is also being offered, the bank said.
Alliance & Leicester is the UK's seventh largest bank and has around 5.5 million customers.
