The winners in the National Savings and Investments Premium Bonds jackpot have been announced.

Number one, a woman living in the London borough of Tower Hamlets, said: "I'm not sure what I'll do with the money yet.

"I've always wanted to travel so I might blow some of it on that and invest the rest," she added.

Over 2.8 million people own Premium Bonds in London, to the worth of around £3.6 billion.

The National Savings and Investments Premium Bonds prize fund rate is three per cent tax-free, with prizes ranging from £50 to one million.
