Northern Rock flexible fixed rate mortgages reduced

Reductions have been announced for a range of Northern Rock flexible fixed rate mortgages.

The rates have been cut by 0.34 per cent on all the products in the range, the lender said.

Main changes include two-year flexible fixed rates, which now start at 4.45 per cent, while three-year rates start at 4.69 per cent.

Both these rates come with a £695 arrangement fee, but without a fee, the rates go up to 4.85 per cent and 5.09 per cent respectively.

Also, five, seven, ten and 15-year flexible fixed rates now start at 4.99 per cent with the same arrangement fee.

All of the Northern Rock flexible fixed rate mortgages offer daily interest and the ability to overpay down to £1, among other features.

Northern Rock is a top ten mortgage lender in the UK and also offers two-year stepped flexible fixed rates as part of the new rate launch.
