Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund launched

A Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund hit the market today, promising to be one of the first true equity income funds on the continent.

The fund, launched by Britannic Asset Management, is the second one to be released under the management of Argonaut Capital.

Investment in the fund will follow the same approach as that of the European Alpha Fund.

Jonathan Polin, sales and marketing director at Britannic Asset Management, said: "This fund gives investors yet further opportunity to further diversify their portfolio from both a European equity and equity income perspective."

Current estimated net yield for the Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund is 4.7 per cent, according to fund manager Oliver Russ.

Britannic Asset Management currently holds around £15.3 billion under management.
