Saga Motor Insurance: over 50s driving blockbuster cars

The Jaguar XJ-S is the most popular vehicle of the "celebrity cars" that Saga Motor Insurance holders drive.
Originally seen in the 1970's TV show, The Saint, over 200 are currently registered with Saga Motor Insurance.
Meanwhile, the Ferrari 380 is also to be found on the books of the insurance provider, which was made famous by Magnum PI in the 1980s US TV series.
Andrew Goodsell, chief exeuctive at Saga, said: "Once the children have left home and the mortgage has been paid off it is a time for realising our dreams and getting the car you have always aspired to own."
It was also revealed that one policyholder has a rare handmade Bristol Blenheim, while the fastest car owned by a Saga Motor Insurance customer is a Bentley Continental.
