Fidelity Funds China Focus Fund could see prosperous Chinese New Year

Fidelity International has spoken about the new opportunities available to foreign investors from January 31st.

The end of the month will see the A-share market opening up, in the country that has been crowned as the world's sixth largest economy.

This market consists of some 1,300 companies in China, which had originally been only for local investors with securities. They are also denominated in local currency.

Customers investing in the Fidelity Funds China Focus Fun will be able to put their money into such companies as well as others in mainland China, rather than in the surrounding region.

Last year, the Fidelity Funds China Focus Fund returned 25.6 per cent, according to the financial services provider.
