Rooftop buy-to-let product fee increased

The procuration fee on the Rooftop buy-to-let product with no minimum rental yield requirement has been increased.

It remains dependent on the minimum qualifying criteria and comes with a rate of 5.75 per cent two-year fixed-rate product.

Doug Hall, sales director at Mortgage Choice, said: "At present I do not believe there is a better proposition from an alternative lender that allows for portfolio applications, fixed for a two-year period, with no minimum rental yield requirements."

Furthermore, all mortgage intermediaries will receive the "enhanced" procuration fee.
