Legal & General investment bond launched

Customers of the Legal & General investment bond will have access to over 200 funds from 40 managers.
Trevor Cheal, sales and development director at Legal & General, said: "Clients will have access to a wider choice of funds in not only unwrapped and in ISAs and PEPs but now at long last in a growing range of completely integrated tax wraps for linked life and pensions products."
The Legal & General investment bond is the first in a range of products that will be offered with Cofunds, of which Legal & General purchased a 25 per cent stake last year.
Cofunds has some 20 per cent of the platform market and expects its assets on UK platforms to double in the next three years, claims the financial services provider.
