Leeds Bonus Tracker launched

The Leeds Bonus Tracker account has been launched and currently comes with a rate of 5.25 per cent until June 1st.

From then, the Leeds Bonus Tracker will track the Bank of England base rate plus 0.75 per cent until February 1st 2007.

Investors can withdraw funds from the account without penalty subject to 60 days notice and additional funds can be added until the issue time closes.

Stuart Fear, product development manager at Leeds Building Society, said that the account gives customers "excellent guarantees combined with the flexibility of access to the funds".

The Leeds Bonus Tracker account requires a minimum investment of £100 and customers can have a maximum of £25,000 in the fund.
