Alliance & Leicester International Fixed Rate Bond launched

The Alliance & Leicester Fixed Rate Bond has been issued and comes with a fixed interest rate of 4.7 per cent.

Customers can invest between £5,000 and £1 million and can choose to have the interest paid either on a monthly or yearly basis.

This interest can be paid either into an Alliance & Leicester International account or into any building society or bank account in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.

Simon Hull, managing director of Alliance & Leicester International, said: "The rate offered on our latest fixed rate bond is highly competitive in the market and the term gives savers the option of accessing the market again for the best deal in 12 months' time."

More information on the Alliance & Leicester International Fixed Rate Bond can be obtained by phoning the building society or visiting the website.
