UCB Home Loans self-certification two-year tracker reduced

From February 6th, the UCB Home Loans self-certification two-year tracker mortgage will see its rate reduced by 0.1 per cent.

The changes will affect both flexible and non-flexible products and it is hoped that the new rates will encourage people to apply for self-certification mortgages.

Thus the UCB Home Loans self-certification two-year tracker (non-flexible) now has a rate of 5.09 per cent.

Furthermore, the flexible option for loans over £200,000 has a rate of 5.29 per cent while the same option for loans up to £199,999 has a rate of 5.39 per cent.

Keith Astill, managing director at UCB Home Loans, said: "We traditionally have a good record in terms of arrangement fees and service levels and the new pricing is designed to consolidate our position as one of the UK's leading specialists in self-certification lending."

UCB Home Loans is the specialist lender from Nationwide.
