Allianz Cornhill Portfolio Plus launched

Cover for private and grade listed properties will increase from a maximum level of £2 million to £5 million.
The company states that the average annual premium on the Allianz Cornhill Portfolio Plus package is £3,000 – this has a total market value of about £200 million.
Allianz Cornhill describes its partnership with Home & Legacy as an "ongoing joint initiative" which sees this product being launched to follow the Portfolio introduction in 2001.
The managing director of Home & Legacy, Gary Burke, said: "Being the leaders in this niche area, we are sure that our extended partnership with Allianz Cornhill can only be beneficial."
Allianz Group, which owns Allianz Cornhill, claims to be one of the world's largest financial service providers and operates in over 70 countries.
