Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund among changes

Charges placed on the Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund and Cartesian UK Opportunities Fund for ISA investors have been reduced.

Equity funds and bond funds previously imposed a charge of 5.25 and 4.25 per cent respectively – these have been cut to three per cent.

The Britannic Argonaut European Income Fund is worth £163 million and has produced investment returns of 42.8 per cent since it began in May 2005.

A net yield of 4.7 per cent is currently offered by this fund, which, according to Britannic, is the only "true" European equity income fund that UK customers can invest in.

Jonathan Polin of Britannic Asset Management said: "This is the first ISA season where our boutique funds from Argonaut and Cartesian have been available and the added discount makes them even better for inclusion in a long-term portfolio."

Britannic currently claims to manage over £30 billion worth of assets on its clients' behalf.
