AA Motorcycle Insurance returns to market

AA Motorcycle Insurance was removed from the market in 2003 owing to difficulties in remaining competitive.

It has now been relaunched, however, in the belief that motorbike transport is becoming more popular following the introduction of congestion charges.

The whole market will be offered cover through AA Motorcycle Insurance, from 'entry-level' scooters and limited-mileage bikers right through to committed motorbike enthusiasts.

Discounts will be offered, both on an introductory basis for new customers and also for existing AA members.

John Close, general manager of AA Insurance, explained the reopening of the deal by saying that, despite the lack of market activity over recent years, "there is some evidence that city-dwellers and commuters are turning to two-wheeled transport once again."

More information on AA Motorcycle Insurance can be found on the company's website.
