Norwich Property Trust added to ISA and PEP range

Owners of Personal Equity Plans (PEPs) and Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) have been offered the Norwich Property Trust package.

Norwich Union reports that its property trust was a popular one with customers who were interested in "investing in bricks and mortar".

Strong returns have reportedly been produced by the trust and this new offering is aimed at customers who would prefer to invest through the tax-free avenue of an ISA or PEP.

Speaking about the incorporation of property investment into an ISA package, Neil Davies of Norwich Union said: "Commercial property, with its strong asset backing, has plenty to commend it.

"It's relatively low volatility and lack of correlation with other assets make property's inclusion in an ISA an exciting opportunity," he added.

The Norwich Property Trust will be available from March 6th onwards through various platforms including Cofunds, FundsNetwork, Lifetime, Transact, Skandia and Selestia.
