Abbey Capital Guaranteed UK Equity Bond among new offers

The Abbey Capital Guaranteed UK Equity Bond has been launched today, along with a Japanese Equity Bond and Residential Property Bond.

All three of the bonds offer at least 100 per cent of the growth of the indices to which they are liked – the UK Equity Bond offers 130 per cent of any expansion in the FTSE 100 Index, capped at 50 per cent maximum return.

The Japanese Equity Bond proposes 110 per cent of any growth in the Nikkei 225 index and the Residential Property Bond offers 100 or 125 per cent of any increase in the Halifax House Price Index – depending on the duration of the bond.

All three of the packages offer five-year investments and the property bond is also available on a seven and a half year deal.

Mike Brown of Abbey Financial Markets said: "We feel there are compelling reasons for investors to have medium term exposure to the residential property market and UK and Japanese equities and by offering a capital guarantee we can provide peace of mind as well."

The Abbey Capital Guaranteed UK Equity Bond and other offers all require a minimum investment of £3,000.
