Principality Two-Year Fixed-Rate Mortgage among new offers

A Principality Two-Year Fixed-Rate Mortgage has been made available along with a number of other products aimed at the Welsh market.

The company claims that borrowers living in Wales have different concerns when it comes to mortgage than the rest of the UK. For example, placing more importance on legal fees and specific product features and benefits.

It is in response to this fact the lender claims, that the new offers are being launched, product website Mortgage Introducer reports.

The Principality Two-Year Fixed-Rate Mortgage will set a rate of 4.54 per cent for 24 months and offer a maximum loan to value (LTV) of 75 per cent. Customers can also take up an offer at 95 per cent LTV with an interest rate of 4.64 per cent.

Dominic White, head of marketing at Principality, said: "As a Welsh building society, we have listened to our customers while devising our new range and the fee-saver products are proving very popular, with highly competitive rates and added incentives."

A three-year discounted rate of 4.94 per cent is available on a fee-saver deal that has no administration or valuation fees and a tracker mortgage, which has no early repayment charge and a starting rate of 4.59 per cent, has also been launched.
