Moneyextra foreign currency service launched

Travellers can now use the Moneyextra foreign currency service to exchange their money before going on holiday.

Customers will be offered a selection of 54 foreign banknotes and traveller's cheques in eight different tenders.

Orders of 'standard' currencies made before 15:00 GMT will be delivered the next day, foreign moneys defined as 'exotic', however, may take longer.

As many different forms of money as a customer requires can be purchased in one order, subject to a maximum value of £2,000. The minimum required purchase is £200.

Orders below a value of £500 will incur a £5 delivery fee, but orders over this amount will be distributed free of charge.

The Moneyextra foreign currency service is available online through a secure service, or can also be used over the telephone. Full details are on the company's website.
