Bank of Scotland Two-Year Tracker mortgages on offer

Bank of Scotland Two-Year Tracker mortgages with interest rates of 3.99 per cent and 4.25 per cent are currently on offer.

These products are intended for intermediaries to use in the springtime period which, according to the bank, is a busy time of the year for lenders.

One of the products will start at 3.99 per cent and track at 0.51 per cent below the Bank of England base rate until June 30th 2008, reports product website Mortgage Introducer.

The second of the Bank of Scotland Two-Year Tracker mortgages has an interest rate of 4.25 per cent and will track at 0.25 per cent below the base rate for two years.

These rates will also be available on the bank's remortgage service up to 75 per cent loan to value, for maximum loans of £1 million.

Charles Haresnape, managing director of Bank of Scotland Mortgages, said: "These new products will only be available for a limited period and are designed to allow brokers to maximise the current opportunities presented by the increase in home buying activity."

Both of the new deals have a maximum loan level of £2 million.
