Intelligent Finance Non-Offset Tracker Mortgage introduced

The launch of the Intelligent Finance Non-Offset Tracker Mortgage has been announced today, with the company stating that the offer has no early repayment charges (ERCs).

According to the company, research shows that 27 per cent of borrowers do not take ERCs into account when they take up their mortgage.

The deal is available with 95 per cent loan to value and will track at 0.65 per cent above the base rate until July 1st 2008 before reverting to the company's standard variable rate.

It was also announced that the way in which the company calculates the ERCs on its other non-offset tracker products will be changed.

From March 31st onwards, the two per cent ERC on the four mortgages in this range will be applicable on full redemption only.

"The new treatment of ERCs on our non-offset tracker range ensures that these products now offer the ultimate in flexibility for customers," said Mark Parker, managing director of Intelligent Finance.

The Intelligent Finance Non-Offset Tracker Mortgage will launch with an opening interest rate of 5.15 per cent on March 31st.
