Fidelity MultiManager Equity Income Portfolio available to savers

Packages such as the Fidelity MultiManager Equity Income Portfolio are an option for people unsure of where to invest their Isa savings, the company has claimed today.

According to Fidelity, almost a fifth of investors are unsure about where to invest their Isa allowance this year, with many "perplexed" by the level of choice available to them.

The company went on to say that this was "unsurprising" considering the fact that there are currently 1,251 funds open to Isa savers in the current market.

"For those still undecided about where to put this year's Isa allowance, multi-manager is worth considering," said Doug Naismith, managing director of European personal investments at Fidelity.

"These products can take the hassle out of choosing one specific fund and also reduce risk by spreading an investor's money across a range of funds."

The Fidelity MultiManager Equity Income Portfolio invests in six different areas and seeks total returns to compete with the bestselling funds in the UK equity income sector.

Fidelity claims that the advantages of multi-manager products include a diversified allocation of assets and the assurance of professionals monitoring your money.
