Coventry Building Society Fixed-Rate Savings Bond unveiled

A Coventry Building Society Fixed-Rate Savings Bond has been announced today, with an interest rate of 5.1 per cent annual equivalent rate (AER) until May 31st 2007.

The product has a minimum investment level of £1,000 and a maximum permitted savings level of £250,000.

A monthly income interest option has also been offered with the new deal – customers who wish to take their interest on a monthly basis will receive a rate of 4.94 per cent gross per year, 5.05 per cent AER.

The building society's previous fixed bond offering a rate of 4.65 per cent until February 28th 2007 is now closed and, similarly, this Coventry Building Society Fixed-Rate Savings Bond is available for a limited time only.
