Salt Prime Self-Certified mortgage range on offer

The Salt Prime Self-Certified mortgage range has been re-introduced today, including two and three-year fixed-rate and two-year tracker products.

Rates on this range start at 5.7 per cent and loan to value (LTV) levels of up to 90 per cent will be available, according to product website Mortgage Introducer.

A heavy income verified range has also been unveiled, including the same products as the prime range but offering maximum LTVs of 80 per cent with rates beginning from 6.65 per cent.

Salt, which is the specialist lender of the Derbyshire Building Society, also announced a fast-track self-certified range, with rates beginning at 6.7 per cent and maximum LTVs of 80 per cent.

Tony Capon, head of sales with Salt, said: "We are delighted to be able to re-launch our entire core range of products, giving non-conforming borrowers more choice and better access to mortgages in these specialist market areas."

He added that the changes made to the Salt Prime Self-Certified mortgage range and other product selections followed research into the company's pricing and lending criteria.
