Mortgage Trust Buy-to-Let mortgages available through email

All Mortgage Trust Buy-to-Let mortgages will now be distributed as email offers rather than through postal delivery.

Mortgage Trust states that this change will make the mortgage fulfilment process quicker and allow mortgage intermediaries to offer an enhanced service to their clients.

The change has been made following a trial period and a facilitation process with the lender's intermediary clients, the company claims, and is in recognition of the important role that digital processing will play in the mortgage sector.

"Providing offers via email will not only avoid the delays often associated with postal distribution, but will also enhance cost efficiency, helping us to continue to offer attractive product rates," said Paul Clampin, head of new lending at Mortgage Trust.

Mr Clampin added that the company would continue to review its processes as it attempts to offer the best possible service to its clients.

A number of Mortgage Trust Buy-to-Let mortgages are currently available, including a fixed-rate deal at 5.05 per cent until May 31st 2007 and an offer with a two-year discount of 1.1 per cent.
