Britannia Two-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage among new offers

A Britannia Two-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage is among four new offers to be launched by the company, with an interest rate of 4.34 per cent.

It has a £399 arrangement fee, a £100 administration fee and early repayment charges (ERCs) apply.

The ERCs on this mortgage are two and one per cent of the amount repaid in the first and second years respectively. After these first two years the rate will revert to the standard variable rate – currently 6.1 per cent.

A Three-Year Fixed-Rate product will also be launched, with a rate of 4.49 per cent, administration fees of £100 and arrangement fees of £399.

Both of these packages are available for remortgages, with rates of 4.64 per cent and 4.79 per cent for the two- and three-year deals.

They do not charge administration fees, have free first standard valuation and conveyancing services and do not have higher lending charges.

The Britannia Two-Year Fixed-Rate mortgage, three-year deal and remortgage packages are available at up to 95 per cent loan to value.
