M&S Car Insurance rated 'best buy' by Which?

A report by consumer advice organisation Which? has rated M&S Car Insurance the 'best of the best buys' for motor insurance in the UK.

The report assessed 6,450 different premiums from 41 insurance companies in the UK, based on price and the quality of cover offered. M&S Car Insurance topped the list owing to the fact that it offered "good value for most drivers".

"We are delighted by the recognition that M&S Car Insurance has achieved in the Which? report," said David Mackay, commercial director of M&S Money.

"We guarantee to keep our customers on the road if their own vehicle is unavailable while being repaired after an accident, stolen or written off. This is something that many other policies do not guarantee."

The insurance includes the provision of a hire car for up to 14 days after an accident, fire or theft as standard and incorporates free UK and European breakdown cover.

It also guarantees repairs for three years, offers instant quotes by freephone or online and includes a discount for customers who buy on the internet.
