All new customers who purchase a total care policy online will receive 650 Clubcard points while those who buy a policy in-store will receive 500 points, which can be redeemed at Tesco stores or on its website.
Tesco Car Breakdown Cover is the only no form-filling instant roadside cover currently available in the UK, the company claims.
It offers assistance with up to one hour's labour and will tow any cars that cannot be fixed in one hour to a suitable point within ten miles of the place where the breakdown took place.
There are no mileage or call out charges and free transport to a customer's home address or their original destination will be offered for the individual and up to seven other people.
Tesco Car Breakdown Cover starts from £33 per year and is provided and underwritten by UK Insurance.
